Visible Silence is a non-profit organization that addresses the issues of sexual abuse in the African-American community. Our goal is to be able to provide counseling and information to those directly and indirectly affected by sexual abuse.

Sexual Assault can lead to long-term physical and emotional problems. It is very important that victims seek help after an attack.

If you’re sexually assaulted, there’s this idea that you’re no longer a man,” said Neil Irvin, executive director of the organization Men Can Stop Rape. “The violence is ignored, and your sexual orientation and gender are confronted.
